ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:
TelevisaUnivision is looking for a Digital Media Strategist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified candidate to be an integral part of the country’s leading U.S. Hispanic Media company and join a fast-growing segment of the business. We are seeking a highly motivated and organized team player to fill the position based across several markets in the United States.
The Digital Media Strategist will report to the Senior Director, Ad Strategy & Operations to develop and create innovative opportunities for clients with a primary focus of supporting the local, multi-market and holding company selling teams across the country.
This position works closely with the local sales, operations, product and creative partners to oversee the planning of digital campaigns. This position requires a strong knowledge of the fundamentals of online advertising, media sales, digital products, and mobile platform opportunities.
ABOUT YOU:
You are excited about working with top tier agencies and clients, report on the process of closed deals, and maintain a pulse on the issues and needs of the AEs and clients in their assigned region.
YOUR DAY-DAY:
Lead RFP digital strategy sessions, and produce thoughtful, creative and goal-oriented proposals to premium brands and advertisers.Partner with the Sales Team on new business opportunities, recommending ideas, products and campaign strategies to meet clients’ objectives and success metrics.Assist in identifying advertising needs of clients to develop new revenue opportunities.Cultivating relationships with existing clients to maximize client satisfaction, retention, and growth.Gather feedback from clients and communicate with relevant staff across the organization to improve TelevisaUnivision’s overall company message, proposals and products.Cultivate a strong trusting relationship with clients, sales partners, activation partners to ensure optimal business partnershipRecognize needs of the overall account and effectively work with team leads for solutionsYOU HAVE:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experienceExperience working with sales leadership, marketing, operations, product and creative partnersAbility to successfully work under tight project deadlinesAbility to understand products and effectively identify how it can provide value to a prospective customerExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to cultivate a “story” to describe in our proposals how our products will meet or exceed client’s advertising goalsExperience working with digital products, specifically streamingHighly organized and detail-oriented self-starter with proven problem-solving skillsComfortable in a fast-paced sales-driven work environmentHistory of effective cross-functional collaboration across multiple office locationsMinimum 2 years of relevant digital media sales experience within an Ad Sales organizationSales planning or sales support experienceComfortable with building and designing decks, preferred but not requiredExact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Please note the national salary range listed in the job posting reflects the new hire salary range across levels and U.S. locations that would be applicable to the position. Base pay Range - $65,000 to $75,000 + benefits
