Job Description
The Digital Marketing Specialist will spearhead the digital marketing strategy for the assigned Business Unit. This role is pivotal in generating and executing a comprehensive digital acceleration plan while continuously monitoring performance metrics and optimizing strategies. The digital journey must be seamlessly integrated into the overarching omnichannel marketing strategy and aligned with business objectives. You will leverage data-driven insights to propose innovative business solutions to Business Unit Directors and Brand and Customer Managers, enhancing productivity through superior customer service, improving customer experiences, and increasing engagement with target audiences. This position reports to the Digital and Transformation Lead within the Digital, Data, and Operations department.

Digital Omnichannel Marketing:
Lead Development: Design and implement the digital customer journey for healthcare professionals, ensuring full integration with the omnichannel strategy of the assigned franchise.Innovative Transformation: Drive and support transformative projects that engage both existing and new customers, aligning with the strategic goals of the business unit.Data Analysis for Customer Insights: Analyze existing customer data to gain insights into expectations and segments, identifying key opportunities for enhancing our digital marketing strategies.Collaborative Planning: Partner with Brand Managers, Business Unit Directors, Sales Managers, and medical representatives to develop a comprehensive client-oriented omnichannel marketing plan that adheres to brand strategy and regulatory guidelines.Customer Satisfaction Initiatives: Initiate and oversee marketing programs that directly address customer needs, thereby enhancing overall satisfaction.Digital Acceleration:
Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive digital acceleration strategy focused on advanced digital solutions and capabilities that enhance organizational processes and drive sustainable growth.Capability Development: Identify and implement new digital tools and technologies to enhance marketing effectiveness and operational efficiency.Digital Literacy Enhancement: Enhance team literacy on digital interactions to improve engagement and collaboration, ensuring effective use of digital tools across the team.Management of Internal/External Relations:
Integration Support: Ensure the omnichannel marketing strategy is embedded within the core activities of Brand Managers and medical representatives, providing ongoing support for implementation.Internal Communication: Effectively articulate the objectives and outcomes of implemented campaigns to internal stakeholders, showcasing strong presentation skills during engagements with above-country stakeholders and facilitating best practice sharing in virtual community calls.Team Coordination: Manage relationships with internal technical and creative teams, coordinating with Brand Managers to launch and optimize various marketing capabilities.Collaboration with Digital Agencies: Collaborate with digital agencies to ensure the successful implementation of campaigns, leveraging their expertise to enhance execution and drive impactful results.Digital Analytics:
Performance Measurement: Analyze and report on the qualitative and quantitative impacts of omnichannel marketing initiatives, supporting data-driven decision-making.Dashboard Management: Organize and present performance results in a clear, actionable dashboard format for internal stakeholders.Data-driven decisions: Motivate product teams to assess and analyze the effectiveness of various campaigns, cultivating a culture of continuous improvement driven by data-driven insights.Other Responsibilities:
Market Awareness: Stay update with trends in omnichannel marketing and competitive practices within the healthcare sector.Product Knowledge: Maintain a solid understanding of market dynamics related to promoted products and competitive landscape.Industry Engagement: Represent the company at external events (exhibitions and conferences) focused on innovative technologies and marketing strategies to develop best-in-class digital marketing approaches.Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications, and Experience:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital marketing, multichannel marketing, or omnichannel marketing, with a preference for experience in the pharmaceutical industry.Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of digital marketing platforms such as WordPress, GA4, Veeva Promo Mats, Veeva CRM, Salesforce, or a proven ability to quickly learn new technologies.Analytical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, previous experience with data analytics dashboards with a strong emphasis on data analysis and presentation. Language Proficiency: Mandatory proficiency in Business English; additional languages are a plus.Competencies:
