You will get the opportunity to be involved in the design control and risk management for existing world leading orthopaedic instruments and implants. You will learn from a well established team with multiple years of medical device and orthopaedic knowledge and get exposure to numerous different departments at Zimmer Biomet as part of our exciting development projects. This is a great opportunity for someone currently in study/recently graduated to get experience in one of the leading companies in the medical device industry. Please note this internship will run until December 2025. **How You'll Create Impact** + Supporting the development groups in interdisciplinary teams + Participating in project management tasks and technical clarifications + Creating and processing change requests for existing products + Creating risk assessments for the periodic post-market surveillance review + Maintaining specific design control and risk management documents + Regular communication with internal customers and management **What Makes You Stand Out** + Interest in CAD, initial experience desired + Very good MS Office skills + Excellent German and very good written and spoken English skills + Excellent communication skills **Your Background** + Completed or currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical or biomechanical engineering or a similar field EOE/M/F/Vet/Disability
