Designer, Creative (Vans APAC)

Role & Responsibilities:  

 

General 

• Follow Global brand guidelines and creative intents to execute marketing collateral including web/ digital/ retail assets, and videos for seasonal GTM stories. 

• Understand and adapt seasonal campaigns and art directions for local executions for online and offline. 

• Adapt global creative assets for APAC needs and integrate them whenever necessary. 

•               Create local assets as briefed by market needs and functional leads. 

•               Review market local created contents. 

•               Support APAC &markets GTM event design and sales meeting event design 

•               Special art requests from markets. 

 

Asset Management 

• Ensure all copyrights (images, ads, artwork...) are always covered and that assets are used accordingly. 

• Organize and upload assets to internal sharing platform at regular basis to always ensure artwork availability.

Functional Competencies –  

List down specific set of functional skills required to perform in this role  

• Knowledge of Design software such as Adobe, lnDesign, Illustrator a must;  

• Knowledge of 3D design software will be a plus, Sketchup or 3D max. 

 

Experience 

 

• A deep understanding of the Vans brand and the action sport/lifestyle industry 

• 3+ years of experience in graphic design/ advertising /interior design 

 

Academic Qualifications 

Minimum Degree Held: Graduate level - preferably Design or Art focused degree 

Language Proficiency: 

 

• Mandarin 

• Fluent in English is a must (both written and spoken) 

• Other languages would be a plus, but not necessary.
