Sutherland is seeking a leadership-oriented and self-motivated person to join us as a Trust/Compliance & Safety Manager. We are a group of driven and hard-working individuals. Qualifications

Responsibilities

Safeguard the entity from non-compliance with laws and regulationsProtect the entity from using resources for illegal activitiesEstablish and maintain effective compliance risk management and control systems, regulatory monitoring and reporting, and sanctionsProvide timely advice on relevant changes in the regulatory environmentPromote integrity in the organizationAssess customer risks, investigate transaction patterns, and report irregularitiesFoster a culture of complianceEnsure that all employees are trained on laws and regulationsActively collaborate with operational and sales stakeholders to ensure teamwork and compliance with regulations and lawsReport when high compliance risk issues are identifiedKeep the regulatory calendar updated and meet deadlines

Experience

A minimum of 5 years of related experienceRisk management experienceExperience in managing relations with regulatory bodiesAdvanced knowledge of applicable regulations in the region

Skills

Ability to assess compliance and prepare required reportsAbility to interpret and analyze data, and problem-solveAbility to manage interpersonal relationships

Education

Bachelor's degree in law, finance, business management, or a related field
