Job Description

Summary:

We are looking for a database administrator who will work on opensource databases specializing in AWS environment, you will be reporting to Engineering Manager and collaborate with global teams to maintain 24/ 7 product availability. You will be reporting to SRE Manager and working in hybrid mode.

Your Responsibilities:As a member of our Data Services team, you will help manage our application technologies in public cloud and adoption of new technologies including open-source technologies.You will help us improve the reliability and delivery of our products. You will join a team that will ensure that issues are resolved in an organized manner as quickly and efficiently as possible.The Essentials - You Will Have:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering , or equivalent experience.Overall 4+ years of experience in DBAExperience managing MySQL and Postgres SQLExperience working on AWS - Amazon Web ServicesExperience setting up backup schedules and securing data.Experience building automation scripts for database server builds using terraform, cloudformation, ansible, GitExperience with Operations technologies including the following: o Server Operating Systems (Windows Server, Linux) o Virtualization EnvironmentsExperience working with Agile methodologies.Ability to participate in an On-Call rotation.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:Experience of working on Microsoft Azure.Experience MS SQL, Kibana and Logstash
