Provide foundational data and analytics capabilities in one place for 50,000 Aon colleagues and our global clients who use our risk and people solutions. Established in 2012, there are over 100 colleagues in Singapore’s Centre today including actuaries, software developers, data scientists, financial analysts and accountants. We are expanding rapidly and looking for dedicated individuals who can leverage emerging technologies and collaborate across Aon’s solution lines to help clients and colleagues make better, data-driven decisions today and tomorrow. What the day will look like Collaborate with business stakeholders and an experienced technical team to deliver Aon’s data, analytics and reporting capabilities. Perform statistical analysis to realize hidden patterns, ask insightful questions, do root cause analysis and deliver actionable insights. Design and implement methodology to derive actionable insights in an automated manner backed by strong statistical underpinning. Build pipelines for data cleaning, and data transformation while ensuring good code quality. Understand the data mapping and transformations that would be involved in end-to-end data flows. Design, develop, test, improve, and document analytical solutions to drive innovation and efficiency. Implement automation, when possible, to streamline the process, and minimize manual intervention. Leverage latest advancements in GenAI to improve the functionality and the user-experience of the analytic product. Skills and experience that will lead to success Master’s or PhD degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field requiring statistical and analytical proficiency. Proven experience in data cleaning, analysis, statistical modeling and result interpretation. Experienced in translating complex data into actionable insights. Experience working in product teams with focus on designing and developing analytical capabilities. Working knowledge of SQL, Python, and PySpark. Knowledge of Databricks and PowerBI is a plus. Knowledge or working experience of GenAI is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to handle projects with ambiguity in requirements. Fluent presentation and communication skills and ability to convey technical analyses and information in a clear and concise manner to a wide variety of stakeholders. Understand the importance of performance and able to implement best practices in ensuring performance and maintainability for data-centric projects.
