A technically accomplished Senior Cyber Security Operations Centre Analyst to monitor the organisation’s cybersecurity state, handle incidents during cyber-attacks and assure the continued operations of ICT systems.This role is also responsible for monitoring and assessing Convatec’s systems cybersecurity state. Analyses, evaluates and mitigates the impact of cybersecurity incidents.According to the organisation’s Incident Response Plan, restores systems and processes functionalities to an operational state, collecting evidences and documenting actions taken.

Key responsibilities and authority

Contribute to the development, maintenance and assessment of the Incident Response PlanImplement and assess procedures related to incident handlingIdentify, analyse, mitigate and communicate cybersecurity incidentsAssess and manage technical vulnerabilitiesEnsure cybersecurity incidents detection and response effectivenessEnforce the resilience of the cybersecurity controls and mitigation actions taken after a cybersecurity or data breach incidentAdopt and execute incident handling testing techniquesExecute procedures for incident results analysis and incident handling reportingDocument incident results analysis and incident handling actionsCooperate with Secure Operation Centres (SOCs) and Computer Security Incident Response Teams (CSIRTs)

Key requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience in Cyber SecurityBasic knowledge of the following:Incident handling standards, methodologies and frameworksIncident handling recommendations and best practicesIncident handling toolsIncident handling communication proceduresOperating systems securityComputer networks securityCyber threatsCybersecurity attack proceduresComputer systems vulnerabilitiesCybersecurity-related certificationsCybersecurity related laws, regulations and legislationsSecure Operation Centres (SOCs) operationComputer Security Incident Response Teams (CSIRTs) operation

Education/ Qualifications

Required:

Either bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or equivalent experience

Desirable:

Cybersecurity-related certifications (CompTIA+, CompTIA Security+, CSA)
