Job Description:

Ready to shift into an exciting new leadership role where you can make a difference? As a Country Brokerage Manager here at UPS, you’ll oversee customs clearance strategies and operations. You’ll keep a close eye on your team’s performance, delegating tasks and encouraging the supervisors in your team to grow in confidence. With your keen eye for detail, you’ll ensure deadlines and budgets are adhered to and met, offering feedback to internal teams on ways to improve standard operating procedures (SOPs). You’ll also use your excellent communication skills to maintain close relationships with clients.

Benefits:

Your Tasks:

Manage brokerage compliance and processes to increase quality levels and cost efficiencyOversee brokerage exception reviews to meet customer expectations, avoid penalties and develop action plansMonitor brokerage productivity and manage reports by liaising with internal teams to assign goals and targetsEnsure adherence to regulatory guidelines and communicate KPIs and areas of improvement to internal colleagues and external third-party stakeholdersOffer mentorship and support, encouraging team members to develop personally and professionally

Your Skills:

A bachelor’s degree or equivalent is preferred; advanced qualifications in customs compliance and import regulations are advantageousLicenced Customs Broker, with G Card/F Card/Diploma preferredGood number of year’s exprience working in customs operations and compliance managementAble to motivate team members, meet tight deadlines and communicate with stakeholders and internal management teamsAnalytical, with budgeting and MS Office skills
