Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Corporate Leader for our General Lines division in Abu Dhabi. This role is pivotal in managing and enhancing client relationships, driving revenue growth, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional service to our clients. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the insurance and risk management landscape, with a proven track record in client relationship management, strategic account oversight, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
Serve as the project manager for the account team on large initiatives or complex accounts, implementing action plans, monitoring progress, and ensuring service meets or exceeds expectations.Draft comprehensive project documents for clients, including white papers, quantitative financial analyses, and presentations to support sales opportunities.Conduct research on various markets and industries to identify growth opportunities and trends for internal use.Address escalated issues and concerns promptly, managing expectations and mitigating relationship risks while ensuring compliance.Strategic Leadership:
Undertake a GAP analysis on client accounts to identify areas for improvement and growth.Establish, expand, and maintain C-suite level relationships with clients to ensure retention and revenue growth.Develop and implement strategies for client relationships, enhancing the perception of value in Marsh’s products and services.Protect client accounts from competitor penetration and develop thought leadership in collaboration with internal teams.Operational Excellence:
Manage a diverse portfolio of upper corporate clients across multiple industries.Design and implement effective risk management and insurance programs tailored to client needs.Ensure swift escalation of client service and relationship issues, maintaining effective service and renewal planning.Oversee day-to-day management of service deliverables and compliance with internal policies and procedures.People and Team Management:
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.Conduct regular performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback and identifying opportunities for professional development.Facilitate team training and development initiatives to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to client management and industry trends.Promote a positive team environment that encourages innovation and the sharing of best practices.Financial Performance:
Achieve new business revenue targets and expand existing revenue streams.Systematically nurture and deliver cross-sell opportunities, broadening Marsh’s engagement with clients across various divisions.Report to the Corporate Segment Leader on budget and forecasts, maintaining a thorough understanding of total revenue derived from client accounts.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.Minimum of 15-20 years of experience in client relationship management, within the insurance or risk management sectors.Proven ability to establish and maintain relationships with C-suite executives.Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct data analyses to support proposals and presentations.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on client satisfaction and service excellence.Demonstrated experience in team leadership and people management, with a track record of developing talent and fostering a collaborative work environment.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
