Position Overview:
Leading the deployment of standard work & capacity analysis con the plant. This position will solve complex operations problems that drive capacity improvement, space and line optimization, cost reductions, operational efficiencies. Serves as an organizational coach and mentor on relevant LEAN such as standard work/Flow, capacity analysis tools and methods, for Reynosa
Key Responsabilities:
• Analyze and design sequence of operations and workflow to improve efficiencies in plant and production facilities and equipment layouts; and establish methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel.
• May establish and may manage training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operations.
• Conduct studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record system.
• Base on these studies, develop and implement plans and programs for facility modifications and revision to operation methods.
• May assist facilities & Process engineers in the planning and design of facilities.
• Develop, model, and communicate manufacturing capacity to key stakeholders.
• Develop people on Problem Solving methods, through providing training, modelling, mentoring, and coaching.
• Through hands-on immersion and learning at the Gemba, continuously drive the development / deepening of the Operating system in the pursuit of everybody everyday improvement.
• Evaluate current processes, determine their effectiveness, identify opportunities, and recommend strategies for improvement.
• May Execute problem solving activities to close gaps of KPI and objectives. o Lead projects of stabilization, improvement, and transformation, using CI tools and techniques (VMS, Continuous Flow, Std Work, 5s, SMED, Error proofing, TPM, Pull System).
• Develop material training and connect global CI programs with Reynosa needs.
• Accountable for monitoring and reporting on the KPIs for CI Reynosa Teams. • Assists the staff of the plant with the strategic planning process.
• Develop and improve layout of the plants, including the Warehouse to improve flow, reduce picking time and improve visual management.
• Support Standard Work creation for every position & process in the plant.
• Work with production lines as well as Logistics and Warehousing teams to provide recommendations on layout improvement, cycle time reduction, line/workload balancing and capacity analysis.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute changes to improve existing layout and workstation movement activities for efficiency and capacity improvement.
• Carry out, review, and analyze operational time studies for manufacturing, logistical and warehousing activities etc.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's in Industrial Engineering or related careers.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in line transfers, implementation of improvements based on Lean Manufacturing, materials management (minimums and maximums), and performance and time measurements.
• Desirable: Experience on Medical Devices or Automotive Sector.
• Is a must Experience working with AutoCAD.
• Advanced computer management skills including Microsoft Office.
• Desirable: Manage of SAP and Minitab.
• Mandatory: Intermediate English Proficiency.
• Availibility to travel outsite de country.
