Content Policy Associate Manager, Consumer Safety
**Summary:** Meta is looking for an individual to join its Consumer Safety Policy Policy Team. The team’s mission is to create and communicate rules related to consumer safety on our platform, such as our rules prohibiting frauds and scams, along with our rules related to health and wellness, financial products, weapons and firearms, and gambling.As a member of the team, you will work closely with a number of other teams at Meta, including our Global Operations, Product, Legal, Communications, and Public Policy teams. You will be responsible for helping our team craft and implement our consumer safety policies, including briefing company leadership and outside stakeholders on matters involving those policies **Required Skills:** Content Policy Associate Manager, Consumer Safety Responsibilities: 1. Help craft and implement our consumer safety policies, taking into account regulatory and consumer risks both in the United States and around the world. 2. Collaborate with Policy, Product, Operations, Legal, Communications and External Stakeholders to drive policy improvements. 3. Articulate policy philosophy and changes to relevant parties, including both internal and external stakeholders. 4. Proactively identify gaps in existing policies and develop scalable solutions. 5. Join the policy on-call roster to help field policy questions on high priority escalations, with an expectation to think critically about complex problems and exercise judgment under time pressure. **Minimum Qualifications:** Minimum Qualifications: 6. 4+ years experience in working on policy in the consumer safety or regulatory space 7. Experience working in a global team 8. Experience drafting policies 9. Experience communicating cross-functionally, particularly in the area of consensus-building 10. Experience in analytical-thinking and problem-solving 11. Demonstrated experience of working on complex issues requiring attention to detail and collaboration with a broad array of partners, proven communication skills, and making difficult decisions under pressure **Preferred Qualifications:** Preferred Qualifications: 12. Experience working in one or more of the following regulatory spaces: financial services, weapons/firearms, health and wellness, gambling, frauds and scams 13.
