Job purpose and deliverable

The Compute commercial marketing communication specialist will play a critical role in shaping and evolving Qualcomm B2B story-telling. Working with channel and OEM teams they will be educating and exciting both channel and end users on the benefits of the Snapdragon compute platforms.  In this role you will be responsible for developing and leading local  marketing initiatives and marketing programs to help drive business results for Qualcomm and those of our partners.

The position requires a good understanding of marketing strategies, product positioning, data and analytics, customer management/support and ability to quickly understand and communicate the benefits to OEMs and partners locally.

European Marcomms Strategy Development & Execution:

Develop and implement regional internal & external marcomms plan (including marketing campaigns, public relations and social initiatives) in collaboration with global commercial integrated marketing, channel marketing, and OEM partner marketing leadership, leveraging global content to support brand building and salesCollaborate with global marketing, sales, and product teams to tailor campaign toolkits to regional needs and ensure cohesive messaging and branding across all regional executionsWork with local team to identify opportunities, trends, and areas where additional regional comms support is needed.Collaborate with the EMEA OEM partner marketing team to support the OEM commercial relationships in EMEA marketing

PR

Work with PR agency and global PR team, to identify key publications and stories to drive awareness with CTO and ITDM audience.Coordinate with the PR agency to develop product reviews in collaboration with B2B journalists.Collaborate with the regional team and PR agency to identify and pursue relevant EU award submissions.

Social/Influencer

Identify and with support of global team build B2B EU focused messaging for Qualcomm-owned channelsWork with social media agency to create regular cadence of appropriate social content for Qualcomm-owned channelsIdentify with influencer agency, key influencer targets

Event

Work with local event lead to ensure event toolkit supports local B2B eventsSupport at events as required

Campaign Management:

In collaboration with global channel marketing team, lead the execution of channel marketing programs in region, aligning with global strategy while tailoring campaigns to local market needs and driving measurable results through the channel ecosystem. Work with commercial integrated marketing team to understand the Snapdragon marketing and communications campaign plans and align regional execution across appropriate channels, internal and external

Content Creation:

Provide feedback on centrally produced content to ensure it is suitable for relevant marketsCollaborate with the Commercial Marketing team to identify customer wins and leverage them for Customer/Partner Success stories.

Budget Management:

Develop and manage the marketing budget (if available).Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

Align with global leaders within commercial integrated marketing, channel marketing, and partner marketingWork closely with internal teams and external agencies to ensure successful campaign execution.Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, agencies, and media.

Experience

Looking for a team player with a passion for marketing and desire to help shape and evolve Qualcomm’s marketing programs. A drive for engaging with partners and customers to build strong and mutually beneficial relationships is a must.

The ideal candidate will have solid creative, communication, customer management and analytical capabilities with relevant partner/customer marketing experience and deep consumer marketing experience. 

4 + years partner marketing, customer relationship marketing or related within the technology space/ consumer or commercial channel (retail, online) and marketing experience in technology companies with detailed knowledge of commercial and consumer OEMS and channels for PCsPreferred experience within semiconductor, communications or technology spaceAbility to defining and execute consumer and commercial channel programs.Experience of driving cross-functional and cross-regional team to create a comprehensive plan with dependencies identified and critical issues/paths.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to deliver clear messages on issue identification and resolution through schedules, trackers, and campaign status updatesExcellent planning and organizational skillsResourceful and solution-drivenAbility to drive and maintain cross-functional processes.Ability to move projects forward without all details determined.Strong team player and ability to interact with all levels.Flexible with the ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.Comfortable with budget managementStrong project management skillsStrong in MS Suite

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, BusinessMS or MBA preferred in Marketing or Communications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 1+ year of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.
OR
Associate's degree and 3+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.
OR
High School Diploma or equivalent and 5+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.

*Completed advanced degree in a relevant field may be substituted for up to one year (Master’s = one year) of work experience.
