Your Role
The North Central Regional Communications Coordinator will partner with the Regional Communications team in building storytelling opportunities around Gensler’s projects, thought leadership, people, and initiatives. This role is responsible for supporting a variety of communication processes and content, leveraging stories across multiple platforms including earned media, social media, speaking engagements, awards, and other reputation-building communication channels.
This position requires an ability to communicate effectively, a passion for internal reporting and crafting engaging stories, the nimbleness to handle multiple deadlines simultaneously, and a knack for building trust and rapport quickly.
What You Will Do
Public Relations
Assist in developing public relations collateral including fact sheets, project narratives, and briefing documentsLead tracking and reporting of external impact through media and industry partnersHelp maintain media assets, contact lists, editorial calendarsExternal Reputation
Support team on speaking submissions, presentation content development, talking points, and event coordination as neededLeverage event sponsorships and organization memberships to effectively activate the promotional benefits to GenslerSupport the awards submission process including tracking deadlines, researching new programs, and guiding teams on their submissionsSupport the website content development process including project profiles, people pages, and blog posts

Your Qualifications
2+ years of professional experience in public relations and/or communications.Exceptional attention to detail.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Self-motivator with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.Ability to problem-solve and present viable solutions and recommendations.Professional demeanor and a friendly, flexible, proactive team player.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Express, inDesign) preferred.*For consideration, you must submit a portfolio and your resume in PDF format.
