We are looking for an experienced advisor with a track record of both advising senior leaders as well as shaping and executing on day-to-day, project and change communication. Dedicated and Machinery Drives is one of Danfoss Drives Business divisions, driving energy efficiency and machine productivity for HVAC/R, Water, Food & Beverage and machine builder customers with a competitive and sustainable frequency converter portfolio. Danfoss Drives is at the forefront of driving a global transformation in digital and electric solutions that increase productivity and energy efficiency.

Job Responsibilities

As our Communication Specialist in the Dedicated and Machinery Drives (DMD) team, you will have a focus on internal and external communication matters and building a positive public image of DMD. You will drive and execute solid communication support on both internal and external channels connected to a broad array of change projects across the organization, including organizational changes, major internal projects, strategy etc. You have an interest in engineering and are eager to chase a great story.

 

Together with skilled communication and strategy colleague community, you will work closely with colleagues across Danfoss and across regions and product lines. With the community located in various geographies, we all share a common ambition of enhancing the value of our communications across Danfoss Drives.

 

In the role as Communication Specialist, you will make an impact by:

Driving independent, strategic projects, identifying best practice, optimizing processes, and setting future direction. Enabling management/spokespeople to communicate in an effective and trustworthy manner. Shaping and maintaining a positive public image of the Dedicated and Machinery Drives organization Working and collaborating with the segment, regional and Danfoss Group communicators, in driving global projects and to unlock departmental/functional synergies. Unfolding strategy and change narratives to support our growth ambitions and organizational changes Background & Skills

To succeed you have:

A relevant academic degree, e.g. Master’s degree in communications or similar.

Solid business understanding and +5 years’ experience within one or more of the following: strategic internal communication, public relations or marketing communications.

A proven track record of advising senior leaders.

Ability to combine strategic insight with tactical execution, detailed planning and strong project management skills.

Strong capabilities in crafting creative and compelling messages for various media types – incl SoMe.

Proficient English skills, both written and spoken.

Experience in navigating and coordinating in complex internal and external stakeholder landscapes.

Experience with delivering communications support to high profile, large projects.

Ability to translate strategic plans for complex initiatives into easily understood and adaptive messaging for a broad group of stakeholders.
