What the day will look like The Commercial Leader for Assessment Sales will be driving sales growth and rapidly growing market presence for Aon's assessment solutions. This role requires a strategic problem solver with a strong background in sales leadership, particularly within the assessment and talent management industry. Business Development Lead & partner on sales activities working together with country Assessment leads: lead generation, networking, campaigns, pipeline management, contracting across the region. Work to understand sophisticated local account needs, gain trust, manage the price and scope negotiation process to profitably benefit the business. Develop an effective method for targeting and conducting outbound sales calls. Refresh product value propositions and sales materials. Drive marketing and sales handshake/strategy for the Assessment Solutions business. Embed sales process around inbound product related opportunities to ensure quicker allocation and Client responsiveness. Take ownership for sales field: improve response time to Clients, ensure use of an appropriate sales management framework including go/no-go decisions. Leverage understanding of other Assessment Solutions services to facilitate broader Client conversations and improve company profit while servicing Client’s needs. Generate appropriate responses to RFPs, sales presentations and proposals. Sales Leadership Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for assessment solution to achieve revenue targets and market expansion in the region. Role models a sales & growth culture and how to successfully leverage Aon’s full range of capabilities when selling (e.g., selling across practice areas, lines of business) Participate in setting strategy, annual budgets and staffing plans with the regional leadership team. Share business development techniques and/or Client management skills with assessment colleagues across the APAC region. Key Attributes Significant and proven sales experience and track record selling to C-level executives and senior HR professionals. Proven experience in leading a high performing sales team. Strong understanding of Assessment Solutions and products across all Aon platforms. High level of commercial competence. Growth mindset, results driven and happy to challenge the status quo. Comfortable operating with volume-based activity metrics. Empathy and Active Listening skills Independent “can do” demeanor Passion for helping Clients solve their problems How this opportunity is different This role will be based in Singapore and will be reporting to the Regional Head of Talent Solutions, APAC. Skills and experience that will lead to success +15 years proven experience in B2B sales, business development and Client management. Experienced in selling talent assessment related products and solutions. Demonstrated track record of setting up, developing and growing a high achieving product sales team. Demonstrated ability to identify, negotiate and close sophisticated, strategically valuable sales to new and existing Clients. Proficient business development and negotiation skills with the ability to influence multiple customers including C-Suites. Ability to self-start and independently initiate new opportunities. Be a confident communicator with the ability to work with and effectively handle a diverse range of stakeholders. Strong presentation, written and verbal communication, engagement and interpersonal skills. Client and customer centric mindset.
