Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a CNC Setup Programmer to join their team. As a CNC Setup Programmer, you will be part of the production department supporting the manufacturing of high-quality machined components. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

Interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces. Develop sequences of operations and machining processes to efficiently utilize production resources and equipment. Design and fabricate work holding and part fixturing for machining operations. Define and select cutting tools and machine parameters to ensure accurate production of components. Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance production methods and product quality.

What's Needed?

A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in CNC operation and programming using Mastercam or related CAD/CAM software. Knowledge of 3D modeling software such as Creo/Pro-E or Solidworks. Ability to read and interpret geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T). Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Experience in a Lean manufacturing environment is a plus.
