In this role, you will be at the forefront of strategic decision-making, defining sourcing strategies, and selecting providers that align with our customers’ IT and automation strategies. You will be the trusted advisor, accountable for delivering highly complex, multi-disciplined consulting engagements that provide lasting and measurable value to our esteemed customers.

Your expertise in prioritising use cases, conducting ROI and business case analyses, and seamlessly incorporating security and resiliency into future state designs will shape the foundation for success.

As a Cloud Consultant, you will strategically develop a future state vision and roadmap that tackles technical debt and makes IT a value engine to the business. You'll be the catalyst for improved performance and productivity, identifying areas where efficiency can be optimised, costs minimised, risks reduced, and performance enhanced.

You will capture, prioritise, and analyse technical requirements, both functional and non-functional, ensuring that every aspect of the solution is meticulously crafted to perfection. But it doesn't stop there. Your impact will extend beyond individual projects. As a thought leader, you will shape the evolution of our intellectual capital assets and contribute to the development of practice resources, solidifying our position as industry trailblazers.

Who You Are

Required Skills and Experience

Sales and consulting knowledge

Experience as a Cloud Consultant, including helping customers: 

Build up-to-date views of their current IT estate.

Identify their company objectives & imperatives.

Establish their guiding principles, constraints, strategies & frameworks.

Define their target hybrid-cloud technology stack and its interim stages over time.

Design their target digital-cloud operating model.

Identify, plan & cost discrete implementation streams of work.

Combine streams of work into an overall phased implementation plan.

Create business cases

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical insights to both technical and non-technical audiences

Understanding of agile, DevSecOps & SRE ways of working. Knowledge of product and platform concepts and strategies.

Good understanding of cloud technology and how to use it. 

Subject matter expertise in at least one or more cloud provider.

Preferred Skills and Experience

Experience with various Digital Cloud IT Operating Models and building product-based organisations to deploy and support key technologies.

Advanced certification on key technologies within your area of expertise.

Ability to articulate key technologies’ impact on security, availability, cost, capacity, etc.

Experience in Agile (Kanban, SAFe, and Scrum)
