Parts Room Specialist – Full-Time | $30/hour (Based on Experience)

Location: Forest Hill, TX

First Student is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Parts Room Specialist to manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of vehicle parts and supplies. This is a full-time position offering stability, competitive pay, and excellent benefits.

Key Responsibilities

Receive, label, and organize incoming parts and supplies

Conduct price and quality comparisons to ensure best value

Provide effective and courteous counter service

Maintain a clean and well-organized parts room, including shelves, bins, and racks

Accurately enter data into our computer system (C.R.T.) and verify its integrity

Generate necessary reports and maintain records

Order special (non-stock) parts and manage returns and core parts

Monitor inventory levels and reorder stock as needed

Maintain repair order accuracy and provide administrative support

Communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams

Qualifications

1–3 years of parts room or inventory experience preferred

Strong attention to detail and organization

Effective communication skills

Proven ability to work collaboratively with supervisors, peers, and staff

Comfortable using computers and inventory tracking systems
