Change and Asset Coordinator

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Change and Asset Coordinator to join our Service Management team under Network, Collaboration and Observability Services organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing IT changes, as well as the execution of Asset Management & Configuration Management processes.

Responsibilities:

Support end-to-end Change enablement process, including reviewing and assessing change requests, coordinating change approvals, and ensuring changes adhere to established policies and procedures

Responsible for the day-to-day execution of Asset Management & Configuration Management processes, including updating Assets & Configuration items (CIs) in Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and raising requests for adding new CIs into monitoring

Maintain comprehensive documentation for each Change request, including implementation plans, approvals, and outcomes. Ensuring clear audit trail for compliance purposes

• Collaborate with technical teams to assess and mitigate potential risks associated with proposed changes, ensuring minimal impact on operations and system stability.

Facilitate effective communication between IT teams, stakeholders, and business units regarding upcoming changes, potential impacts, and scheduled maintenance windows

Coordinate and schedule change implementations

Ensure that appropriate testing and validation procedures are carried out, verifying that changes are implemented accurately and meet quality standards

Conduct post implementation reviews to assess the success of change, identify any issues, and gather feedback for continuous improvement

Audit Asset & CIs records and dependency information to ensure they are up to date, as well as for security and compliance purposes

Publish weekly and monthly reports as per requirements

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, communication networks, mathematics, technical sciences, or equivalent job experience

At least 3 years of experience in IT Change Enablement or related Service Management roles

5-7 years experience in global roles & corporations

Strong understanding of Change Enablement methodologies and processes

Basic understanding of network management and network operations is a plus

Excellent communication skills

Able to establish good working relationships globally and collaborate with networks of employees at all levels

Able to apply quality control practices to all tasks

Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders

Ability to work effectively and efficiently in teams and organizations dispersed across the globe

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Critical thinking and problem-solving attitude

ITIL v4 foundation certification is a plus
