**Job Summary:**
The Supply Network Planner serves as the primary liaison between Demand Planners and Production Planners at both Colgate-Palmolive and contracted production facilities. This role is responsible for converting demand plans into inventory requirements within the supply network while optimizing customer service and carrying costs.
**Responsibilities:**
1. **Balancing Demand and Supply:** Execute daily, weekly, and monthly planning cycle priorities to ensure product availability, right-sized inventory levels, and synchronization of new product introductions and sourcing transitions.
2. **Service vs. Cost Optimization:** Maximize customer service at the minimum cost.
3. **Supply Resolution:** Utilize system alerts to identify and resolve supply shortages or overstocks.
4. **Data Analytics:** Use supply chain data and tools for informed decision-making.
5. **Continuous Improvement:** Develop and implement best practices for finished goods replenishment, inventory management, and system utilization.
6. **Collaboration:** Work with Demand Planning, Production Planning, Transportation, Warehouse Operations, and Customer Service to achieve cost-effective supply planning and improve supplier responsiveness.
7. **System/Process Development:** Implement "Best Practice" supply planning processes to maximize service, minimize costs, and optimize inventory.
**Required Qualifications:**
+ **Education:** Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or equivalent experience.
+ **Experience:** 1-3 years of supply planning or equivalent experience.
+ **Technical Skills:** Strong knowledge and experience with SAP/APO/PPDS/IBP tools.
+ **Language Skills:** Advanced proficiency in English is required.
**Desired Qualifications:**
+ **Advanced Education:** MBA is a plus.
+ **Functional Competencies:** Understanding of supply and demand dynamics, supply chain constraints, and continuous improvement techniques.
+ **Leadership Competencies:** Strong analytical and decision-making skills, teamwork abilities, and cost/P&L understanding.
**Compensation and Benefits**
Salary Range $ - $ USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws.
