What you will do

Develop new and maintain existing sources to ensure adequate inventories of materials, components, equipmentMay be responsible for leading cost reduction and/or special project teamsAnalyze quotations received, and schedules delivery of products, materials, and/or componentsPrepare orders and follow-up orders to expedite delivery and shipmentAnalyze demand and usage informationCoordinate purchasing activities with manufacturing unit to maintain planned levelsDevelop and maintain necessary records and files for efficient operationsPrepare, submit, and may explain periodic reports on areas of responsibility (such as detailed cost analysis, plans, and project results)Utilize analytical skills to interpret system requirements and put together financial projectionsMonitor supplier performance and partners cross-functionally to drive accountability and improve supplier relationshipsConduct inventory analysis to maintain the lowest level of inventory possible while servicing our customers at an excellent level.Drive strategic business initiatives like Product Life Cycle Management, identifying opportunities and facilitating appropriate actions towards successful completionUtilize the following equipment/Applications:  Oracle MRP system, Internet Explorer, MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook, etc.

What you need

Bachelor’s degree required0+ years of relevant experience APICS Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or Certification for Supply Chain Professionals (CSCP) preferredAbility to navigate SKU level negotiation with appropriate supplier contactsAbility to articulate thoughts professionally, representing both Operations and the Company, and present to large groups, including senior leadershipStrong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflowVersatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasmProven leadership and business acumen skills
