**OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB:**
Ensure we have the best understanding about customers, competitors and TA’s where we operate.
BIMs should be main contact person for business partners to centralize any request about market insights needs.
Main areas of responsibility are:
+ Analytics.
+ Market research.
+ Competitive intelligence.
+ Forecasting/ Business Planning
**MAIN ACTIVITIES/TASKS:**
Responsible for the methodical transformation of data into valuable and actionable insights that will drive action plans consistent with the strategic Business Objectives.
+ Core member of CVT: First point of contact for the CVTL for complex business issues; proactively identifies BI needs and plans provision of outputs across all BI activities in collaboration with all the CVT.
+ Acts as an "Insight Integrator", collating and synthesizing insights from all sources to incorporate a 360 view of the internal and external environment and develop recommendations for business action.
+ Provides expertise in those therapy areas of personal responsibility and introduces relevant BI methodology and tools based on BI knowledge and skills.
+ Responsible to lead market research in the CVT to ensure good market understanding and strategic positioning.
+ Responsible for all the analytics in the BU (Internal & External). Drives strategic decision-making through the provision, analysis and interpretation of information and metrics.
+ Ensure good competitor insights in the BU, including competitors pipeline analysis, main products performance, etc.
+ Lead forecast in the BU. Ensure we set our goals with the best information. Interprets analyses and articulates outputs for potential business cases.
+ Coordinates with other functions to monitor and analyze market trends
+ Proactively and continuously liaises with EMEA BI Team to develop BI plan, leverage synergies / avoid duplication, and share / generate insights.
**SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:**
Additionally, for all employees involved in RRAs:
+ Ensure safety reporting requirements (timely AE/PQC reporting) as set out in company policies and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) are met and appropriately managed when planning projects, developing materials, executing projects and contracting vendors.
+ Ensure HCC and legal requirements (Fair Market Value, Transfer of Value rules, Promotional Materials rules) are fully understood, appropriately managed and complied with when planning projects, developing materials, executing projects and contracting vendors.
**OTHER FEATURES OF THE JOB:**
It could be necessary to attend field meetings to better understand trends and information collected through secondary sources.
**ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:**
+ Postgraduate qualification or relevant experience on business intelligence, business administration, health economics, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Data Science or similar.
+ Languages: English and Spanish. Track record of communicating clearly and effectively in both written and verbal forms in English.
+ Progressive experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry (>3 years).
+ Learning agility with ability to quickly assimilate and digest information.
+ Organized and structured mindset
+ Strong analytical skills, ability to draw insights, and ability to absorb significant technical information.
+ Proven project management skills
+ Ability to manage multiple projects within a complex and changing environment.
+ Flexible team member with positive attitude and ability to prioritize projects.
+ Ability to work on his/her own in a matrix environment and deliver on projects with “can do!” attitude.
