Job Description:

The Brokerage Officer collects and interprets data to help a company take actionable steps to improve performance and meet goals. Their primary duties include identifying, gathering, analyzing data and making their insights accessible to the company through easy-to-understand graphs, charts, tables and reports.

Job Duties

Attend to post declaration enquiries from internal and external customers

Analyzes and investigates shipment failures to determine errors, identify possible problems, and propose corrective action required for prevention.

Communicating with different functions to correct failures.

Maintain and generate regular reports as required

Control the daily workflow and identify any workflow failure and areas of improvement

Assist with monitoring service levels and other key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure the accomplishment of internal targets

Attending to customer enquiries

Performs tasks as directed by management

Job Requirements

Possess at least a Diploma in Business Administration, Customs Brokerage or related fields

At least 2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred

Display excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and accuracy

Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office programs

Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills

Able to remain calm under pressure and manage customer-facing dialogue

Able to work as part of a team and show initiative/positive attitude in a fast-paced environment

Reliable, with high integrity and a strong work ethic

Certificate in Customs Competency for Declarant will be preferred
