As (Associate) Manager, you will lead a global team of engineers that own divisional CAD and drawing standards including maintenance. On the other hand, the team is also responsible for equipping new product development of the Trauma & Extremities division with the best engineering tools and services to ensure fast and high-quality product development.
What you will do:
Lead, coach and develop an R&D Engineering team in a global medical technology environment.
Collaborate across sites and functions to ensure efficient project execution.
Make independent decisions for project and program issues.
Maintain and further develop high technical expertise within the team.
Leverage strong listening and communication skills to establish a diverse network and to influence across functions, senior leadership levels and business units that help achieve business goals.
Lead a culture of diversity, inclusion, and belonging at a team level in hiring and staff development.
Distill department objectives, goals, strategy and mission into performance objectives for direct reports.
What you will need:
Required:
Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Engineering or applicable technical field.
6+ years of leadership experience or substantial technical or project management experience.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams across sites in a regulated industry.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills with a hands-on leadership style.
Ability to communicate highly technical topics in a fast and efficient manner.
Preferred:
Engineering experience with PTC tools like Creo and Windchill.
Knowledge of GD&T in ISO and ASME standards.
General knowledge of the healthcare market and competitors.
Proven ability to deliver programs or other business goals on time, on quality and within budget.

Additional information:
This role can be based in Selzach (CH), Kiel (DE) or Cork (IE), with a flexible time commitment ranging from 80% to 100%, subject to individual arrangements.
