The Associate Director, Value and Access, Dupixent will be a key leader and contributor to Sanofi’s growing flagship brand Dupixent and responsible for supporting market access strategic execution for the Dupixent franchise, driving leading Franchise level projects aligned with Dupixent’s Pricing & Contracting strategy, across payer channels

This role requires a high level of collaboration and integration with all groups within the broader US Market Access organization to ensure the goal of profitable access. 

This position is be based in Cambridge, MA or Morristown, NJ and reports to Dermatology Team Lead, Value and Access (Dupixent).

Main Responsibilities: 

Support strategic and tactical execution for the Dupixent Value & Access team and integration of payer marketing tactics into brand business and alliance management 

Manage Dupixent payer brand budget for project work 

Collaborate with the brand therapeutic areas and provide input into brand strategy and tactical development for Dupixent indications, serving as expert for the payer, distributor and channel perspective and ensuring economic considerations are incorporated 

Implement an unbranded and branded payer engagement strategy, supporting the Dupixent strategic plan 

Execute on V&A strategy and tactical plans, including the Payer value proposition (PVP), and help to integrate payer tactics into the overall brand plan, including payer access messages to HCPs 

Identify gaps in current market access understanding and develop plans to gain direct payer insights through primary research, advisory boards, etc., and work with vendors to implement projects in a timely, impactful manner 

Support payer access pull through opportunities and execution of pull through strategy for all channels and geographies based upon formulary position and opportunity 

Manage vendors/agencies, including the development of RFPs, review, selection and milestones achievement towards contract deliverables 

Support the Derm team lead in operational efficiencies and have the flexibility to take on other responsibilities, as needed by the business over time 

About You

Professional Skills and Competencies 

Basic understanding of US Healthcare system dynamics preferred 

Experience in payer/brand marketing, specialty space including pricing, distribution and payer dynamics unique to specialty products 

Understanding and experience in different access and reimbursement models: Commercial, Medicare Part D and Medicaid 

Understanding of key payer value drivers and ability to develop and implement payer value propositions 

Leadership skills and demonstrated ability to lead cross functionally 

Experience identifying trends and insights assimilating into market/channel strategy and ability to develop a clear, tangible execution plan 

Working understanding of strategic pricing and commercial contracting strategy, process and rules 

Demonstrated ability to identify and develop business opportunities  

Strong financial acumen, analytic skills & critical thinking ability 

Understanding of the legal/regulatory environment and internal Sanofi legal/regulatory guidelines and processes 

Ability to communicate at the executive level 

Open willingness to test new platforms and evolve ways of working to embrace technology, drive efficiency and reduce cost 

Strong project management capabilities including time and events, scenario and contingency planning, and the ability to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of outputs and deliverables 

Team player with proven ability to align internal stakeholders and achieve results through collaboration 

Self-initiator with proven ability to manage ambiguity and transitions 

Education 

BA, BS or equivalent required, MBA or other graduate degree preferred 

Experience 

5+ years of biopharmaceutical industry experience in Sales and/or Marketing 

2+ years of Market Access experience, such as Payer Marketing, Account Management, Contracting, Training

The salary range for this position is:

$147,000.00 - $212,333.33

All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs. Additional benefits information can be found through the LINK.
