What are we looking for?

\n

The Assistant Sales Manager supports the hotel’s commercial strategy by proactively managing accounts, generating leads, and converting opportunities into confirmed business. This role is key in driving revenue across key segments such as leisure, travel trade and consortia while maintaining high standards of service and client relationships that reflect the hotel’s brand values.

\n

Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

\n

What will I be doing? 

\n\nAnalyze local market trends and competitors’ activities to identify business leads\nDevelop customer accounts and travel within the assigned geographic markets to drive business and to increase market/customer share in the leisure and group segments\nContinuously source new business through research from local DMCs and market intelligence\nMaintain valid call objectives and relevant action plans for each key account / key prospects \nProduce and implement an account development plan for each managed account to achieve maximum revenue / production to meet set target\nExecutive commercial strategies within the area of responsibility\nAttends tradeshows and sales trip as planned and submitted of each year and updated calendar at each quarter\nBe fully up to date with budgeted / actual / forecast targets of the accounts within your responsibility\nMonitors and grow business with inputs into sales strategies \nIdentify and communicate ideas and customer expectations from assigned segments and accounts to Director of Sales, Commercial Director\nMaintain accurate profiles and history of all accounts in Delphi\nRespond and follow up on group leads, sales opportunities and customer requests promptly and in a professional manner\nAttend Sales meetings and BFM calls\nUndertake administrative requests as directed by the Sales Management Team. \nSupport administration and execution of all planned group family, events and groups.\nArrange and carry out Hotel show rounds \nEnsure Wholesale contracts for the hotel in accordance with the established pricing conditions \nParticipate in hotel promotional activities\nAttend training and meetings when required\nCarry out any other reasonable task set by the Hotel's Management\n
