Assistant Manager, Broking

What the day will look like + Responsible for financial performance of portfolio under management. + Understand, govern and execute Aon Broking Strategies. + Execute Strategies to drive client profitability and cost efficiency. + Develop and maintain strong and collaborative relationship with Carriers to achieve world class broking + outcomes. + Develop and maintain strong internal relationship with Client Managers and other colleagues from Aon. + Develop and maintain Client relationships and understand the needs of clients on employee benefits and + ensure placement with clients' selected insurer/program. + Understand and stay current on each client's business situation, strategy and HR, risk and finance need + and upsell/cross-sell relevant solutions. + Manage Client's accounts by providing renewal review, lead negotiations and providing Remarketing + expertise, technical knowledge and advisory, market knowledge etc. + Ensure TBS platform and broking process are adhered to. + Conduct peer review for team members. + Work independently and with initiative. + Serve as Broking subject matter expertise and provide training to internal stakeholders. + Pro-actively manage tasks or challenges on hand and propose resolution options. + Guide internal stakeholders in resolving complex client issues based on existing solutions and process. + Undertake any other initiatives and ad-hoc projects as assigned. . Skills and experience that will lead to success + Degree or Diploma from a recognised university or polytechnic + Minimum regulatory requirements (BCP, PGI. CommGI, HI, M5, M9) for registration as Broking and FA rep with MAS + 5 years in the related experience + Leadership skills required to manage teams + Analytical, critical thinking and decision making + Effective collaboration across departments and organization + Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines + Positive, influencing and willing to embrace change + Alignment to departmental and organizational vision and goals + Self-directed growth and development + Strong interpersonal and presentation skills will be an advantage + Good skills on MS systems including Word, Excel, Powerpoint required How we support our colleagues In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage an inclusive workforce.
