Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Assist Resident Engineer - Dry Utility to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will support the Resident Engineer in overseeing dry utility projects, ensuring efficient design, installation, and maintenance of electrical, gas, and telecommunications systems.

Assist in the planning, design, and implementation of dry utility projectsReview and analyze technical drawings, specifications, and project documentationConduct site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and local regulationsCollaborate with contractors, utility companies, and other stakeholders to coordinate project activitiesPrepare and maintain project schedules, progress reports, and technical documentationIdentify and resolve technical issues that arise during project executionSupport the Resident Engineer in managing project budgets and resourcesEnsure adherence to safety standards and quality control measuresParticipate in project meetings and provide regular updates to senior managementAssist in the development and implementation of best practices for dry utility engineering

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field3-5 years of experience in dry utility engineering or a related fieldProficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD and GISStrong knowledge of dry utility systems, including electrical, gas, and telecommunicationsFamiliarity with local building codes and regulations in Dubai and the UAEExperience with utility design and installation processesExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong technical report writing and communication abilitiesProficiency in project management tools and techniquesUnderstanding of construction processes and project lifecycle managementProfessional Engineering (PE) license preferredAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environmentWillingness to work on-site and travel as required for project needs
