What You Can Expect
Respond to requests for inventory to be moved between territories, to ensure that implants and instruments are available for scheduled procedures. Includes urgent needs, redeployment support, and order maintenance for Asset Management and U.S. field sales offices. Maintain inventory levels at territories per established guidelines. Participate in special projects and initiatives.
How You'll Create ImpactSupport both urgent field sales office requests and redeployment efforts by strategic reallocation and distribution of field inventory
Review request for inventory to determine what is needed, location and date.Review inventory in internal systems and/or tools to identify territories who have the needed inventory.Contact other territories via email or phone and work with the territory to move inventory for the temporary urgent need request or permanent redeployment loan movement.Support Asset Management team with general order maintenance efforts to restock orders and incremental stock orders.
Release approved ROE incremental stock orders per established guidelines.Review and release orders within monitoring applications and escalate for approval as appropriate.Perform general order maintenance as required and communicated, including maintaining quantities, adding lines to an order, and canceling lines from an order.Maintain maximum quantity levels (par levels) per established guidelines.Participate in special projects and initiatives.This is not an exhaustive list of duties or functions and might not necessarily comprise all of the essential functions for purposes of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
What Makes You Stand Out Expected to develop general order maintenance competency within an ERP system.Computer literate with a basic familiarity with MS Excel.Strong customer service orientation.Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially the ability to foster positive relationships with all internal and external (Territory/Distributor) personnel.Results oriented with the ability to accomplish work in a team environment.Strong attention to detail.Demonstrated enthusiasm and willingness to learn.Demonstrate the potential to work unsupervised on assigned tasks.Demonstrate the potential to develop analytical skills, especially in the areas of process improvement and problem solving.Highly developed organizational skills – able to handle multiple high priority tasks/projects.Your Background Associates Degree preferred5+ years customer service experience, preferably within the medical device industry
