Excitation Sales Manager - Asia Pacific

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to plan and ensure implementation of Excitation business sales strategy, to achieve both qualitative and quantitative targets for systems, products and services. You will be leading the sales strategy of the assigned market and exceed the sales targets through high performance in order to ensure high levels of customer satisfactionThe work model for the role is: Hybrid #LI-HybridThis role is contributing to the Excitation business line of Process Automation Energy Industries Division of ABB, Philippines.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tCreating the Excitation’s sales plans for the area, in coordination with the Sales organization and teams.•\tIdentifying business opportunities and potentials, supporting the local unit in market penetration and ensuring the targets are achieved.•\tAnalyzing the customer needs and competitor offers through general market information and the information provided by the Sales organization.•\tEnsuring efficient marketing actions (e.g., product launches) and communications to the Sales organization and customers, communicating the value proposition of the products, systems, services, and packages provided by the company.•\tSupporting the Sales organization/customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions, as well as in the preparation of competitive/strategic offers.

Qualifications for the role

You are highly skilled in sales and marketing of solutions and services across energy, power generation, utilities, and other segments in the marketAbility to demonstrate your knowledge and experience and existing network in the Philippines market.Experience in sales and business development of excitation systems is an advantage.Bachelor’s degree in engineering is preferred but not a must.You are at ease in communicating in English and is a good negotiator.Willingness to travel around 50% of time across the country
