Summary: We are seeking an experienced Architect with 10-12+ years of experience in the Transportation and Logistics domain. The ideal candidate will have expertise in CAGen IBM z/OS Connect Mainframe API Webservices and other related technologies. This hybrid role requires a deep understanding of mainframe systems and the ability to design and implement robust solutions that enhance operational efficiency. Responsibilities Work with the business team to understand the business requirements for the application enhancements Conduct a comprehensive analysis and prepare the Design Document to implement the business requirements Complete the coding, unit testing and Integration testing to ensure the functionalities aligned with the design Co-ordinate with the offshore team for the requirement clarifications and smooth handover. Reviewing the offshore deliveries and ensure the defect free code. Complete and deliver the project on time with zero defects. Requirement 15+ years of overall IT experience 8+ years of experience in CAGen programming and toolset experience 8+ years of experience in Mainframe that includes COBOL, JCL, Easytrieve, REXX programming 8+ years of experience in DB2 database Some hands-on in Linux and Oracle database Logistics Domain knowledge highly preferred. Qualification: BS in computer sciences or equivalent experience. Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
