We are seeking a talented individual to be the Analytics Lead for Korea at Guy Carpenter. This role will be based in Singapore. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
Analytics Lead - Korea
Guy Carpenter's Global Analytics and Advisory group is responsible for providing valued, differentiating insights to our clients around their own growth, capital, and volatility management strategy.
This role will be a strategic partner with brokers and clients helping to find solutions to problems. They will leverage the firm’s proprietary MetaRisk software suite to develop and optimize bespoke reinsurance transactions and evaluate their impact on our clients’ capital, growth, and volatility objectives. The successful candidate will implement models and calculations to assess risk and develop pricing and strategies for a range of risk exposures for clients and lead the Korea analytics team in the delivery of analytics services to the firm’s clients including but not limited to actuarial, catastrophe modeling and advisory areas

Translate complex technical analysis and concepts into easily understandable terms for broker and clientsContribute to impactful and insightful discussions with clients on their reinsurance strategy.Conduct research on industry/regulatory developments that affect loss liabilities to determine the impact on clientsEstablish and maintain strong relationships with brokers/clients/reinsurers/colleagues, assist in promptly responding to client queries and concerns.Provide technical training to colleagues and the clientsWhat you need to have:
Experience in reinsurance treaty pricing and catastrophe modelingMinimum 15 years of experience in non-life (re)insuranceExcellent communications, presentations and project management skillsStrong ability to handle significant workflow through efficient time managementDemonstrated experience in leading and managing a diverse teamStrong communication skills in English and KoreanQualified actuary (FCAS, FIAA or FIA)What makes you stand out:
