Analyst, Finance (Temporary), BD Advanced Patient Monitoring

Perform financial analysis to support business planning and decision making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform general accounting monthly reconciliation across the plant
• Analyze information (e.g, tool cribs, production supply, other expenses) to create reports, and propose recommendations to management
• Perform analysis and reporting for the budget and forecast process for assigned areas
• Reconcile more complex accounts payable balance sheet accounts in financial system and review details against supporting documents and/or subsidiary reports
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies with vendors to ensure timely payment
• Resolve issues to bring invoices to closure by collaborating with other departments (e.g Supply Chain and Quality)
• Perform some treasury tasks including electronic payments (e.g, ACH wire transfers) and journal entries related to cash
• Other incidental duties
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, 2 years years experience in Accounting Required
Additional Skills:
• Good analytical and problem solving skills
• Good computer skills in MS Office Suite required; integrated systems (e.g, JDE) preferred
• Good communication, interpersonal relationship, and negotiation skills
• Able to read, write, comprehend, and speak Spanish and English
• Moderate knowledge of Accounting concepts and principles
• Expertise in one or more functional areas and detailed knowledge of other areas impacted within the business
• Knowledge of and adherence to Edwards policies and procedures
• Strict attention to detail
• Must be able to work in a team environment under moderate supervision
• Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
