**What will you do?**
A day in the life of a Community Coordinator at Altra looks a little like this.
This role is in the marketing department and is primarily focused on executing a plan that helps us win with women, and build a younger and more diverse community in North America. They will work closely with the marketing team, creative team and outside partners. This role reports to the Social Media & Community Manager.
Let’s break down that day-in-the-life a bit more.
· Develop relationships and partnership opportunities with diverse and women’s run clubs/events and ambassadors in our growth markets and then work with the Manager of Social Media & Community to operationalize a way to execute with these groups.
· Work with the Marketing Director and Social Impact & Sustainability Director to execute grassroots marketing programs with our community partners such as RIDC, Run for Public Lands, Trust for Public Lands and Freestone Endurance.
· Operationalize our seeding program with key opinion leaders so we can not only seed them, but also leverage their network so new people and communities can also experience Altra.
· Work with our Sports Marketing Team to develop a plan that supports our athlete ambassador Alysia Montano on her journey to LA in 2028.
· Be at the forefront of culture and social trends to support the marketing team so we can attract the consumer of the future and build a relevant brand.
· Support the Social Media & Community Manager in developing community content ideas that uplifts the voices of our diverse communities, plus work with channel partners to integrate these stories across channels when appropriate.
· Execute community based in real life events and ensure we are bringing our brand to life consistently.
· Keep the community calendar up to date and our internal team engaged in opportunities to get involved with run culture.
· Work with the Social Media & Community Manager and Coordinator of Paid Media to input content needs into our Social Evergreen Briefs, plus support filming iphone content if/when needed.
· Work with Social Media & Community Manager to manage the social and community budget and process partnership agreements with legal.
· Support the Social Media & Community Manager in developing insight-based marketing reviews.
**What do you need to succeed?**
We all have unique skills that we bring to work and celebrate every day. For this role, there are foundation skills you’ll need to succeed and excel. Additionally, while formal education in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your 2-3 years of experience and professional achievements.
A successful candidate will need to have an understanding and passion for run culture and community building. They will have a can-do attitude and be willing to pitch in wherever help is needed. They will need to be consumer-first-minded and be able to drive connection and community with new thinking and ideas across a diverse group of people.
The foundation skills you will need in this position are:
· Experience or desire to build communities across run clubs, events and ambassadors
· Consumer-first-minded and be able to drive connection and community with new thinking and ideas across a diverse group of people.
· Ability to think creatively and execute strategy
· Drive towards actions and results
· Ability to write briefs and collaborate with a creative team
· Understanding of storytelling and what makes engaging content
· Ability to organize and prioritize multiple goals and projects under tight deadlines
· Ability to work with and influence peers
· Ability to develop and lead complex projects involving multiple cross-functional stakeholders
· Flexible and adaptable with a can do attitude
**_Location requirement: The ideal candidate will reside within the Denver area as we are required to be in the downtown Denver office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday._**
There are also a few skills that are not required but preferred.
· Passion for running and outdoor culture a plus

**Hiring Range** **:**
$60,480.00 USD - $75,600.00 USD annually
**Incentive Potential** : This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential.
