Administration & Communications Coordinator – Fixed Term Contract
VF Corporation is offering a fantastic opportunity to work as Administration & Communications Coordinator, here at the Bardon Distribution Centre, Leicestershire, UK.
This is a fixed term contract position to cover a maternity leave and will work full time office hours.

Let’s Talk about the Role
Based within the Distribution Centre offices, the Administration and Communications Coordinator will work with a variety of teams to support the needs of the site and coordinate all site communications by designing and writing effective communications in line with VF’s brand and organisation style.
How You Will Make a Difference
Administration duties include but are not limited to:
Request management: Handle ad hoc requests including taxi bookings, pool car requests, gym bookings, PPE requests, hot desk bookings etc.Ordering: Manage the ordering of stationery and work equipment for the site, source goods from suppliers and manage deliveries.On-site contractor assistance: Support on-site contractors, including such as the cleaning and catering teams by checking hours, fulfilling various requirements, and conducting regular meetings.Coupa Management: Purchase orders raising and invoice approval, collaborating closely with the accounts team to ensure cost accuracyCost tracking: Monitor site spending and identify potential savings opportunities.Communications duties will include:
Design and create communications: Create engaging and effective communications that reflect VF’s brand and organisational style.Collaborate with Senior Leadership: Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to deliver all communications, including preparing and coordinating Town Halls.Video Production: Record, edit, and publish weekly Roundups and other videos.Email Communications: Send important communications via the Bardon Announcement email.Content Creation: Regularly create presentations and videos to update Sharepoint, DC screens, and notice boards.Team Collaboration: Work with the wider EMEA team to promote Bardon DC and align on communications initiatives.Recruitment Support: Collaborate with Recruitment to promote internal opportunities.Recognition Programs: Coordinate the Champion of the Month and Champion of the Year processes, including monthly meetings with the Senior Leadership Team and certificate creation.Calendar Management: Update the monthly site calendar with all happenings.Purpose Team Collaboration: Work with the Purpose Team to review all communications going out to the site.Skills for Success
The successful candidate will be able to use the following skills and experiences that they may have gained from a variety of backgrounds, transferring them across into our exciting role.
Strong written and verbal communication skillsExposure to MS Excel Smartsheet will be advantageous but not essentialAny previous exposure to video production and editing, or a keen interest in this area would be amazingAbility to work collaboratively with various teams and build brilliant relationshipsExcellent organisational and time management skills will help you to keep on top of your workloadA creative mindset with attention to detail will allow you to make this role your own and truly add valueWhat’s in it For You
