Sutherland is seeking an attentive and goal-oriented person to join us as a software engineer for the NICE Actimize program who can translate the underlying technical details of customer requirements to the functional level with the help of his technical expertise and proprietary products available at NICE Actimize.
Job Description
The Software Engineer performs a wide range of duties including some or all the following:
Prepares and integrates Actimize solutionsEnhance existing solutions to match client requirements by configuring and customizing software using Actimize software, SQL / PostgreSQL and other technologiesDetermines technical feasibility by evaluating requirements and analysis as well as proposed solutionsTests and troubleshoots software solutions, configurations and customizationsProvides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues.Utilizes software engineering tools such as configuration management systems, build processes, and debuggers in the software development processPerforms technical root cause analysis and outlines corrective action for given problemsAbility to create databases, objects views and indexes, write and run queries to inspect data in the database.Ability to write XSD to define XOB model. If API integration is planned, there may be a need to understand requests and responses, in a JSON format.Ability to interact with a REST API. Ability to understand and diagnose any problems encountered.Apply a sense of urgency, commitment and focus on the right priorities in developing technical solutions in a timely fashionC# language is needed to implement Actimize software application.QualificationsQualifications
