Your Role

We are currently seeking a skilled and dependable Temporary Accounts Payable Clerk to provide support during a busy period.

What You Will Do

The Temporary Accounts Payable Clerk will support both payables processing functions. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of maintaining accuracy under deadlines.

Process vendor invoices, ensuring proper approvals and account coding

Prepare payment runs, including checks, ACH, and wires

Review corporate credit card transactions to ensure compliance with company policies and verify accurate GL coding for payment review

Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records

Address vendor inquiries and support the month-end payables reconciliation

Provide support for internal reporting and audits

Collaborate with team members on ad hoc finance projects

Your Qualifications

Associate’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

2+ years of experience in accounts payable and/or general ledger accounting

Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Coupa, Vision/ VantagePoint) and Excel

Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a temporary or contract accounting role

Familiarity with ERP systems and automated AP workflows

Additional Details

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM (PST)

Duration: 7-month assignment, potential for extension

* The hourly pay rate for this position is $28.00.
