Account Director - Workplace Risk

An opportunity exists for an experienced workers’ compensation professional in our Workplace Risk         Practice in the Perth office to provide consultancy advice to our clients, as well as drive the business development strategy. The Workplace Risk Practice is the leading provider of strategic workplace risk       services to Australia’s Top 500 companies. 

Reporting to the WA State Manager (Workplace Risk), the primary focus of this role will be to provide an innovative and flexible approach to clients’ workplace risk programs, present solutions and recommend improvements in their performance.

The Role

Project management of clients’ workplace risk programs, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services  Provide our clients strategic advice for claims, injury management and premium Report writing and implementation of client retention strategies Support the Insurance Brokers as a technical expert in all aspects of Workers’ Compensation  Manage company profile with industry contacts by identifying and maintaining strategic relationships in all key markets Engaging our strategic partners to deliver value to our Company Be an active member of our consultancy team, willingly working on assigned projects and developing team members knowledge and skills Identifying new business opportunities for the Company Help with tender submissions and presentations 

The Requirements

Extensive experience working for an employer, a broker, Insurer  Experience in Workers’ Compensation arrangements and the key drivers to premiumsExperience in developing and executing a new business strategyExcellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skillsExperience in supervising, coaching and mentoring team membersProven ability to organise, prioritise, project manage and work well under pressureA team player with the ability to demonstrate credibility and gain trustA tertiary qualification in Allied Health, or equivalent work experience desirable
