We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Assembly Operator to operate machinery, assemble components, and ensure product quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will follow safety protocols, meet production targets, and maintain accurate documentation while contributing to a clean and organized workspace.


Location: Newton NC
Pay Range: $18.00/HR
Shift: (3rd) 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM
 

Key Responsibilities:

Operate assembly equipment and machinery safely and efficiently to meet production targets. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure accurate assembly of parts and components. Conduct required quality checks and first-piece inspections to maintain product standards. Complete and maintain all necessary documentation, including VE logs, first-piece check records, and scrap/rework logs. Perform changeovers on all machines accurately and efficiently. Properly tag, separate, and place scrap or rework parts in designated areas. Assist with line feeding as needed to maintain workflow. Follow cell qualification processes to achieve sign-off as a qualified associate. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all housekeeping duties are completed.

Qualifications & Skills:

High school diploma or GED preferred. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
