Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/medtech **SUMMARY:** This role will support to establish and enhance the Health Care Compliance (HCC) program locally under supervision of the MedTech/Vision HCCO in accordance with related J&J internal guideline, local laws and regulations and anti-corruption laws including the Foreign Corrupt Practice Act. This position reports to the MedTech Sector Sr. HCC manager. This position is based in Seoul South Korea. **PROFILE:** + Requires Health Care Compliance or similar role experience in Medical or Pharmaceutical industries + Or preferred background in finance (Including SOX or any internal control), sales & marketing, Professional Education, legal in healthcare industries or experience / knowledge of FCPA or related laws and regulations + Background may include Compliance, Finance, Marketing, Medical Affairs, legal or Auditing. + Requires strong communication and experience collaborating with internal stakeholders adding a proven ability to influence business partners + Ability to take complex business situations and develop solutions to ensure compliant growth is achieved **RESPONSIBILITIES** + This position will ensure that the HCC program effectively prevents and/or detects violations of law, regulations, policies, or the Code of Conduct in respective partnering franchises and/or departments: + Lead the implementation and support of key elements of an effective Health Care Compliance program for local market/Sectors and overseas the Health Care Compliance program internal controls of effectively prevent, detect, correct and anticipate risk. + Conduct review of governance, risk assessments, management action plans, data analysis, testing, monitoring, reporting, training and policies. + Facilitate transactional review of transfer of value and engage with business partners to provide guidance on Health Care Compliance related topics in alignment with Health Care Compliance Policy and procedures. + Demonstrate an operational excellence mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation + Understand and apply J&J Credo and leadership imperatives in day-to-day interactions with team. + Third Party Intermediary Due Diligence: Manage risks involving third party intermediaries by conducting the due diligence process in covered business areas, including training to business sponsors, coordinating the process with franchise operation team, reviewing due diligence questionnaires. + Monitoring: Participate company HCC monitoring program to identify warning signals and/or gaps and provide meaningful feedback to franchise/department leadership so that appropriate corrective actions are taken accordingly. + Business Partnering- Acting as a consultant, provide day-to-day guidance, advice to covered employees as well as review the pre-approval of daily business activities.- Ensure business activities with HCPs/government officials are planned in consistence with applicable HCC policies and procedures by reviewing and pre-approving those activities. + Data analysis & Dashboard: Deploy or enhance data analytical tool and dashboard to identify any potential compliance risks among day-to-day transactions and activities through outliers /unusual trends analysis + Training & Communication: Conduct HCC trainings to distributors and employees periodically to convey the compliance guidance & policy to the relevant participants + Others- Following up on the Management Action Plan and guide the business partners to close gaps and implement corrective actions.- Reporting unplanned deviations and support HCC Officer in Managing day-to-day allegations and investigations.- Any local, regional or global project participation as project members - Partially- Assist investigation related to covered business areas.- Assist and support HCCO’s ad-hoc based reporting & team activities related requests **EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:** + Minimum of BA/BS required; any other advanced degree preferred but not required + Minimum of 3-7 years business and/or compliance-related experience + Knowledge of laws including FCPA, regulations and industry standards for South Korea + Knowledge and experience of data analytical skills in using Alteryx,Tableau, PowerBI etc. **SKILLS and ABILITIES:** + Breadth of experience in all areas of: Compliance & regulation / Testing & Monitoring / TPI DD management / Data analytical skill / Communication + Independent and objective thinker, able to advance ideas and influence others + Manages conflicts in an open and constructive manner + Demonstrate strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills + Strong drive for results and solution orientated + High level of integrity with good ethical core values + Fluent in English (reading, writing, verbal) **Legal Entity** MedTech **Job Type** Regular **Application Documents** Free-form resume AND cover letter is required (in Korean or English). **Application Deadline** Open until the position is filled. **Notes** + Preference will be given to individuals subject to national veterans’ benefits and persons with disabilities upon submission of relevant documents as per applicable laws. + Only candidates who pass the resume screening will be notified individually.
